The country is witnessing shocking incidents which happened in the recent past where anti-India pro-terrorist slogans were heard asking for disintegration of the country. Such incidents strengthen the hands of anti-national forces, enemies of the country and terrorists who are foes of the humanity.
Two such incidents in recent days have shook the peace-loving patriots of the country and the collective conscience of the society-firstly, the anti-India pro-terrorist slogans by a section of students in Jawahar Lal Nehru University on 9th February 2016 and secondly in the aftermath of this, the organization of a seminar on 11th February 2016 in the Press Club of India wherein in the backdrop of the pictures of terrorists, Afzal Guru and Maqbool Bhatt, anti-India slogans were shouted.
The group members are deeply hurt by the anti-national activities by a group of students in JNU, a premier University Campus in the heart of Delhi, and further the anti-India, pro-terrorist sloganeering, etc in the Press Club if India, the place known for strength of media, Both these incidents are, at the outset, anti-national and have hurt the sensitivities and collective conscience of society.
In addition to the protest march, GIA also submitted a Memorandum to the President of Press Club of India and will be submitting another one to the Union Home Minster, Govt. Of India in this regard, GIA has demanded the following form the President, Press Club of India.
1.       Proper investigation into the 11th February 2016 incidence at the Press Club of India who are involved in creating hatred towards India.
2.       Examining and exposing the entire links who provide political, psychological, moral and financial support to such anti-India persons and terminate their membership as well.
3.       To frame guidelines so that the Press Club of India is not used by such India-Haters in future. in the memorandum to the Union Home Minister, GIA will demand immediate action against the pro-terrorist anti-national elements so that they do not dare think about the disintegration of our nation and spoil the peaceful conducive environment of India’s development.
4.       GIA condemns pollution of academic institutions in the name of freedom of expression and demands immediate exemplary action against the perpetrators of anti-nationalism.

  1. All Central Universities like UoH, JNU, Jadavpur, Jodhpur and others where this kind of anti-national slogans/activities have taken place, should have retired Army Officers in key posts. Govt should take immediate steps in this direction. Otherwise things may go out of hand!
