  1. Many swayamsevaks in Tamil Nadu would say that Shri V. Shanmugnathanji is next to Sri K. Kamaraj who visited almost all rural areas in Tamil Nadu in building up the Sangh and its ideology. When I was 17 years, I was given the assignment of Taluka Baudhik Pramukh of Gudiyatham in the Open meet held in Vazhaithoppu, near virinchipuram, Vellore Dist in his presence. I remember he was Vellore and Chennai Sambhag Pracharak at that time, ie. 1980. His personality include simplicity, soft spoken, assertive, commanding, conclusive decision making etc. Swayamsevaks attracted towards his Baudhik (lectures) and became volunteer for national cause. I pray the God for his good health and continued Goodwill Mission for National Unity and peace in the North-Eastern Land of Bharat.
